STILL IN USE
Several vehicles regularly attend various military rallies. Some of last year's trips were; Railway at War, at Buckfastleigh, the Airborne 25Pdr. Berkeley Castle MVT anniversary show, The Dame, and the Morris C9B went to the Yeovil Festival of Transport. The Seddon Atkinson transporter has helped, as I feel a very special reason is needed to drive some of these vehicles such distances.

One such special event is the Anniversary of the D Day Landings in Normandy.
We have attended with the Hippo or the Ford LAAT in 1984, '89, ' 94, and '99. Last year the Ford, with other vehicles from Devon, joined the MVT Normandy Tour, covering something over 1000 miles. Three of our crew of six were Normandy Veterans, two of them having served together in Churchill tanks of 107th Kings Own.

The Dame went to Guernsey in 1985 for Liberation Day celebrations, and the Ford also went to Arnhem in September 1998. The T54 went to the Paris Motor Show in 1997, and a few vehicles have been used for film and TV work. A recent job was filming here in our field with the T34 and a WW2 Russian Living History Unit, for an interactive CD Rom on the T34 tank.}
